Built in 1947 and launched in 1948 by George Standal, a millwright at the mill in Port Alice. He built several boats which all included "Moon" in their names.
Owner 1962-2017, William Arnold. He fished her from 1962 til 1998. She was rigged as a salmon troller, with an ice hold and a Penta diesel. Bill installed a 371 Detroit diesel in the early 90s.
She was partially converted to pleasure craft after 1998.
